Hi! My name is Ellen Xiong and I'm an exchange student from Wellington, New Zealand. Despite my appearance, I was born in New Zealand and have lived there my entire life. I have been studying at Doshisha since the beginning of this year. I decided to study abroad in order to raise my fluency as I hope to work in a job where I can use Japanese. When I was in New Zealand, I befriended a lot of Japanese exchange students which means I got to see them improve as time passed and heard their personal stories! That combined with the fact I myself an exchange student now, means I provide some detailed information about studying abroad in New Zealand. New Zealand is a super diverse and easy going country and if you are thinking of studying abroad there, please feel free to drop by and ask me questions anytime!
