同志社「グローバル人材育成プログラム」の一環として、ラーニング・コモンズ/Global Villageで今期も”Go Global" Assistantが本格活動を開始しています。

第一回は、米国・ハワイで育ち、アーモスト大学からの留学生として同志社で学ぶEmilyさんです。
Emilyさんは帰国スケジュールの関係で、12月末までの活動になりますが、毎週火曜日12時半から14時半まで活動してくれていますので、米国、アーモスト大学、異文化適応などについて興味のある方は、是非コンタクトしてください。

Hi all! My name is Emily and I'm originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, but I usually attend college in Amherst, Massachusetts. I'm a Japanese and American dual citizen, but I've lived in the U.S. my entire life, so one of the reasons I wanted to study at Doshisha was to experience living in Japan! As a Sociology student, I'm excited to discover more about Japanese society, specifically the nuances of social life that aren't visible to tourists--I believe this is one of the amazing opportunities uniquely provided by study abroad programs, as they allow you to immerse yourself in a foreign community for an extended period of time. In addition, I also love Japanese culture, landscapes, and (especially) food! One of the goals I have for my semester here is to make a lot of friends from around the world, so please come talk to me if you have any interest in going abroad to study, or if there is anything else you would like to discuss. Feel free to come by anytime!
